About iPhone Switch
An independent editorial publication helping Android users make a confident, informed transition to iPhone.
Our Mission
iPhone Switch exists because switching mobile platforms is harder than it should be. Millions of Android users consider moving to iPhone every year, but the process involves more than just buying a new phone. There are apps to replace, data to migrate, workflows to rebuild, and an entirely different ecosystem to learn. Most of the guidance available online is either too superficial or hopelessly outdated.
We provide thorough, practical, and honest editorial coverage of the Android-to-iPhone transition. Our articles address real pain points: transferring WhatsApp history, finding iOS equivalents for favourite Android apps, adapting to a different notification system, and understanding what you genuinely gain and lose in the switch. We do not pretend the transition is seamless, but we help you navigate it successfully.
What We Cover
Migration Guides
Step-by-step instructions for transferring data, contacts, photos, messages, and app libraries from Android to iPhone.
App Comparisons
Honest assessments of how popular apps differ between Android and iOS, and where iPhone versions excel or fall short.
Ecosystem Adjustment
Guides to mastering iOS features like Focus modes, Control Center, iCloud, and privacy settings for Android converts.
Honest Trade-offs
Candid coverage of what Android users miss after switching and what they unexpectedly appreciate about iPhone.
Our Editorial Approach
iPhone Switch is completely independent. We are not paid by Apple, any carrier, or any trade-in service. Our editorial perspective is pro-reader, not pro-platform. When Android does something better than iOS, we say so. When iPhone offers a genuinely superior experience, we explain why. Our goal is to give switchers an accurate picture so they can make the transition with realistic expectations.
We publish new articles daily, drawing on hands-on testing, reader surveys, and community feedback. Every guide is written to be actionable and current, reflecting the latest versions of iOS and the most recent iPhone hardware.
Our Network
iPhone Switch is part of a network of independent editorial sites covering the Apple ecosystem in depth. Our sister sites focus on iPhone industrial design, foldable iPhone developments, display technology, upgrade and trade-in analysis, and next-generation MacBook coverage. Whether you are new to iPhone or a long-time user, our network has the focused analysis you are looking for.
